Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
